The Sudanese Development Organization (SDO)
is a Sudanese NGO established and registered in 2015 with the humanitarian aid commission (HAC) south Darfur state and our registration certificate is normally renewed every year. Sudanese Development Organization (SDO) is not a religious, political or non-sectarian and non-profit-making organization, it is a humanitarian organization whose vision (improved education – health – environment) Capacity Building that combines modernity in the setup and configuration and ongoing alignment with the requirements and development in the labor marks to promote “Peace, and Community Empowerment for All” among the different communities of Darfur states.
SDO has been able to acquire sufficient community goodwill that will enable it to implement future activities smoothly. In addition, the organization has competent and experienced staff as well as an equipped coordination office in Nyala.
The Sudanese Development Organization and humanitarian aid organization focuses on promoting the well-being of people especially those affected by the civil war and the most vulnerable, regardless of religion and ethnic background through encouraging maximum participation to those being assisted operates with sensitivity to local culture and relationships, work whenever possible with local and international partners, give immediate attention to development recovery, provides local preparedness training through international organization funds in disaster-prone areas, doing assessments and surveys to assess the potential needs of the communities through collaboration with governmental authorities, International communities, UN Agencies, local leaders and other NGOs
